Sacha Ghebali is SVP of Strategy & BD at The Tie. Prior to that, he was US Operations and Data Analytics Lead for Kaiko, a leading digital assets market data provider. In his previous life in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, Sacha worked on high-performance computational physics for the Aerospace industry and carried out research for Airbus, Safran Aircraft Engines, and Swiss Space Systems.

Among several notable projects, one highlight is his research with Fidelity & MIT Sloan’s Digital Currency Initiative, which focused on the economics of cryptocurrency mining. Sacha holds a Master of Finance from MIT, as well as Masters in Engineering and Research from Arts et Metiers ParisTech, and a PhD in Aeronautics from Imperial College London. He now serves on Wilshire’s Digital Assets Advisory Group and is based in New York City.
